The phenomenon of www.straightfromthearse.wordpress.com is at an all time high. I want to thank my loyal readers, all six of you (that includes you Mom), for all of your support. I am proud to announce that none other than Mr. Yankee, Derek Jeter is a large fan of my work. It would appear that he’s taking my ranking of THE FINE FIVE quite intently and making it his own personal relationship scorecard. I say kudos to you Mr. Jeter.
As of right now I have Jeter batting .600 with THE FINE FIVE. You can count Jessica Biel, Scarlett Johanson and Minka Kelly as three of Jeter’s lady friends. My grade five math skills will allow me to equate that 5 out of 5 will garner him a .600 average in THE FINE FIVE batter’s box. A .600 average will most definetly garner him a hall of fame nod in my book, regardless of his achievements on the field.
You can take the World Series, the captaincy of the Yankees, the Gillette commercials with Tiger and Roger or even being a spokesman for Jump man away from him, but you will never be able to take his .600 average of THE FINE FIVE away from him. Well done!
