Happy New Year to all of the seven readers I was able to duped in 2008. Lately my postings have been below my mediorcre standard that I strive for and they are dwarfing on poor. In fact due to my inactivity, the blogging commisionaire and has warned me that my blog could be retracted like that of THE DUKE OF SPORTS. I humbly apologize for this and I hope 2009 and will bring you all happiness and luck (although not too much, I’ll need something to write about).
I had planned to spend New Year’s eve going bottle to bottle with my soon to be 5 month old son. I even told him I was prepared to boob for boob (with or without the consent of the First Lady) but alas it wasn’t meant to be. For the first time since I was probably 16 my liver was uneffected and I didn’t consume a single drop of alcohol (it should be noted nor did my son for all of you Children Aid Workers out there.)
I’m anticipating that 2009 will be an exciting year on many fronts both personally and in the world of sports. If you don’t have anything better to do with your time (and chances are if you are reading this that may be the case) I’ll do my best to bring my musings to you and you can leave me some feedback and commentary of your own. In the next few days I hope to have a 2008 recap post up and running. So thank you 2008 we won’t be needing you anymore, welcome 2009 can I buy you a beer?
