Did I miss something? Am I in somekind of alternate reality? I was stunned and amazed while watching NHL highlights on Saturday to see Sidney Crosby jump Brett Mclean at the face-off circle while the ref was dropping the puck. With Pittsburgh coasting through an indifferent season thus far Sid “THE KID” Crosby must be feeling the pressure. His antics are morphing into a Darcy Tucker’s Side Show Bob routine. This cannot be making La Commisonaire Gary Bettman too happy.
Two weeks ago Crosby was given someone a hoop shoot clean out and now he’s jumping guys that are 3 apples high in the mold of a smurf. His hoopshoot clean out a few weeks back can be seen as a magnanimous gesture, this latest display is questionable at best. I’m left only to imagine the words Mr. Exciteable Pierre McGuire would’ve made up if he called the fight.
