One would think that Buffalo Bills receiver Stevie Johnson would have learned his lesson. Apparently not? Yesterday after scoring a touchdown vs. the Patriots he lifted up his jersey to wish everyone a Happy New Year. Harmless enough, no?
Well about a month ago Johnson scored against the Jets and had an ill fated touchdown celebration that paid homage to Jets receiver Plaxico Burress shooting himself in the leg. His interpretive scoring dance netted the Bills a 15 yard penalty for excessive celebration. Coach Chan Gailey instituted a team rule against celebrations.
Due to his post touchdown fashion choice Johnson was benched for the rest of the game. Buffalo led 21-0 and ended up losing 49-21. I’m not the sharpest knife in the door but I’m guessing this isn’t going to help Johnson in his quest to secure a long term deal this offseason.
Isn’t it fun to be a Buffalo Bill fan (insert sarcasm here)? Why can’t I renegotiate with my sports conscience to cheer for a new squad? What are the rules about this? Can I drop one team and cheer for another? Bueller….Bueller?????

u can only change teams if that team leaves its current city or u are 12 years old!! the dangers of rooting for the so called “home team”.
Technically the Bills leave to T.O for one game a year…perhaps this is the loop hole that I’m searching for. Once Ralph Wilson expires I might not need a loop hole.
