I would like to thank my newest one time reader (who really would like to come back to this site on purpose anyways, eh?) Nick Moreau for leading me to the truth behind the non-retirement of Carlton the Bear. I feel better knowing that Burkie isn’t taking out the poor start on the mascot. Perhaps there’s still a chance that Jason Blake will pay the price now.

That story is false. What they mean is that the performer is retiring.

They already have found a replacement who will play Carlton after the current one retires in mid December.

I was going to ask you Paddy about the chances of Sosa being in the Sweeney lineage but I didn’t know how to slip it into the conversation. Come to think of it he does look a lot like Senior Ken though.
