I believe that in life you must give credit where credit is due (unless it’s to say that Paul Pierce is an all time great Celtic). Based on that motto I would like to thank my good friend “The Condor” for suggesting that the First Lady and I watch or DVR the television program The Soup. This act of kindness is much appreciated. The Soup is hilarious, a must see indeed for this household.
For those of you that are unaware The Soup is an E! Entertainment Television weekly series. It is a revamped version of Talk Soup that focuses on recaps of various pop culture and television show moments of the week. The show is hosted by Joel McHale, who provides sarcastic and biting commentary on the various clips.
By putting The Soup into our regular television rotation (although as the DVR manager I still haven’t anointed it a starter just yet, it’s still a DVR bullpen stalwart at this point) we now have to watch less and less reality television (which in reality is a good thing not only for us but those around us). The Soup provides all the best bits that we need to see, so in essence I would like to thank Joel McHale as well for giving me my Rock Of Love Tour Bus and my Maury Povich updates.
Here’s a clip of the First Lady bringing me on the Maury Povich show to discuss her new culinary classic recipe chicken tetrazzini. Enjoy.
