I was killing some time on Twitter last night and I came across an article by Bruce Arthur of the National Post about Maple Leafs General Manager Brian Burke. The story is about how Burke marched in Gay Pride Parade through downtown Toronto in tribute to his son, Brendan, who was killed in a car accident earlier in the year.
Brian Burke is a polarizing figure to many. There’s a large faction hockey fans that love him and on the other hand there’s plenty love to hate him. Luckily this article isn’t about hockey, so regardless of your hockey politics take the time to read the following article on Burke’s moving tribute to son. I found it to be required reading. Thanks.
