My wife gave me this blog as a Christmas gift. It would appear that she is tired of hearing my quips and subtle commentary on a daily basis. So she gave me this bloggy thing to annoy the rest of cyberspace. Blame her I say.
My general interest mostly revolve around sports. I’m an avid fan of most sports. I seem to be an ardent supporter of teams that aren’t accustomed to winning. Among those teams is the Toronto Maple Leafs. Recently they are a huge source of frustration for me. In time I hope this frustration will pay off. However, I am reminded on a daily basis by non-Leaf fans, that they haven’t had a drink out of Lord Stanley in 40 years.
Thanks for visiting and wasting your time reading my stuff.
Warning: This bloggy thing will always strive to be mediocre.
I didn’t realize Port Dover had a hospital? Hehe. Or did Jules have you in the bath-tub?!!
Hey, just wanted to check out the new cybertoy. Where are all the witty and profound Ryanisms that I am so proud to say come out of the mouth of my favorite nephew???
Like the “smellies” in my daughter’s diaper, your subtle commentary is always welcome. In fact, I believe that I smell a commentary as I write.
Hi, Arsenault! I really love the blog. Any tips? I’m starting one up myself. 🙂 It seems like so much fun! Anyway, I hope this finds you well and enjoying life – as it very much seems you are most of the time. AliMac
Hey Arse. First things first, how does it feel to have 2 snow days over the past two weeks? Second, the blog is informative and uplifting due to the quintessential “Arsenault” banter that is typically matched by just about no one else I know. Congrats to you and Claire!
Dear Ryan,
A little humble solicitation for a good cause. As you and a few of your many readers may know, my wife was diagnosed with breast cancer on her 29th brithday. After a 7 hour surgery and 7 chemo treatments she is doing very well, and like those in the sisterhood or the pink ribbon is doing very well to stay positive and endure the ups and downs of treament. In an effort to spread the message, my mother and mother in law have joined forces in the Avon Breast Cancer Walk in Boston this may.

Hello my name is Joel Musambi Founder of FlexSports Inc and we’re a start-up tech company focused on apps that will enhance Canadian sports. We are currently doing a (insert) campaign, which we hope to achieve our funding target and launch the web app as soon as possible. The purpose of this message was to ask if you could write a story on our kickstarter campaign when it launches? A story will definitely help us achieve our goal. Having blogged a little bit, I am an admirer of the content you put out and would welcome the opportunity to work together during this hectic period. If you are interested let me know and we’ll give you more information on our company. Here is a preview of the project
Sincerely,
Joel M

Hey Melissa…I’ll reply to via email. Cheers!
I have also had delivery Problems with The Toronto Sun. Since 2014 I have had delivery Problems with the Sun. Every time I complain, the delivery service improves for a few months, then it’s back to late delivery or no delivery. On Friday April 8/16, my paper didn’t arrive. After contacting the call centre, a Toronto Star was delivered. On Sunday April 10/16 my paper was not delivered again. I called the circulation dept. and a recording asked if I wanted a replacement paper delivered in 90 minutes. I replied yes, it took 3 hours to deliver after several complaint calls.
I demanded of one of the Sun Distribution Managers that they agree to a penalty every time my paper is delivered late or not at all. All they offered was two weeks credit. I have to conclude that they do not believe in their delivery guarantee. If you want your paper delivered on time every day, don’t take Toronto Sun home delivery.
