Mr. 500

Today I proudly fire off my 500th post.  It’s been a long time coming but it’s here my friends.  Straight From The Arse got it’s start in December of 2007 when the First Lady had finally had enough of my quips and decided that for the sake of our relationship she better seek some help.  So in her infinite wisdom she decided that there was no way she could press the mute button on me so instead she applied the misery loves company strategy instead.  She decided to give me this site so all of you could share in her frustration and here my mediocre ramblings.  Solid move First Lady….solid move.

With that here’s my 500th post.  To tell you the truth I thought I would’ve reached this milestone a lot earlier.  I came out of the gates pretty fast but in the last few years I’ve had a lot less time to think and type at the same time.  Having the Association and the Merger around is far and away much better than pounding the keys of computer though, so don’t cry for me Argentina.  I’ll be fine.

However I’d like to thank those of you that have taken time to waste your time reading my stuff.  It’s fun to share (that’s what I learned in Kindergarten) and I look forward to piecing together a few more mediocre posts.  At this rate though I’ll be hitting 1000 posts sometime around my retirement date of 2031.
